INDIANAPOLIS — Butler shot 62 percent and methodically wore down Bucknell 86-60 in college basketball before a crowd of 7,236 Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
The game was part of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational. Also in that tournament, the Bulldogs (3-0) meet Norfolk State at 8:30 p.m. Monday before facing Vanderbilt on Thursday in Las Vegas.
Butler featured four players in double figures: Tyler Wideman and Avery Woodson 14 points each, Kelan Martin 13 and Kamar Baldwin 10.
Point guard Tyler Lewis had seven assists for Butler, which had 19 assists on 36 field goals.
