INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler Bulldogs were defeated by Green Bay on Wednesday night by the final score of 55-46. Brittany Ward scored a career-high 19 points on 10-of-11 shooting from the charity stripe, but the Phoenix were able to outscore the Bulldogs 23-16 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
The fourth quarter opened up with a 3-point field goal from Blaire Langlois to move the Bulldogs within a point of Green Bay at 33-32. Langlois' triple was matched by Jessica Lindstrom who came up with back-to-back 3-pointers that extended the lead and a jumper from Mehryn Kraker extended the scoring streak to 8-0 which gave Green Bay the 40-33 edge.
