Kristen Spolyar’s name is legend at Lebanon. She broke the Indiana single-season scoring record (1,031) during her senior season and is Lebanon's all-time scoring leader (she broke the record of some guy named Rick Mount).
But success in high school is one thing — Spolyar was the best player on the court nearly every game for four years. College? A different monster. Especially playing for a team like Butler. The Big East is a far cry from the Sagamore Conference.
But if early results are any indication, Spolyar is doing fine.
In her first game against East Tennessee State, she scored 25 points on 7-of-15 shooting, grabbed seven rebounds and had three steals in 23 minutes.
