INDIANAPOLIS – Kelan Martin wanted to improve. So did Dakota Mathias.
Joey Burton, a basketball trainer, wanted that for both. They would be better together, he reasoned.
“What do they both need? It was kind of a perfect match,” he said.
After working out against each other in a Pike Township gym last spring, Butler’s Martin and Purdue’s Mathias will take their pairing a few miles south to Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
