Former Southport center has two years left Indianapolis Star
INDIANAPOLIS – Joey Brunk, a 6-11 sophomore from Southport who was popular with fans and a part-time starter, announced Wednesday he is transferring from Butler.
Brunk is on schedule to graduate in May after three years at the university.
“I have decided to graduate and transfer for my final two years of college basketball,” he posted on Twitter. “This is another step in my journey. Thank you to everyone who has been in my corner and supported me.”
Brunk was ranked as the No. 107 player by 247 Sports in the 2016 class.
