Former Pacers swingman Kelan Martin has a new NBA home.
The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Tuesday that Martin is signing a 10-day contract with the Celtics.
Martin is in his third NBA season and last played for Indiana. He was waived Jan. 6 while in the league's COVID-19 protocols and just before the second year of his two-year deal became guaranteed.
"He's a pro, and the way he played for us, he'll get picked up," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said the day after Martin was waived. "If he doesn't get picked up off waivers, he'll get picked up immediately, I believe.
