Former @Butler_CCTF Runner Callum Hawkins Qualifies for 2016 Olympic Games

Former Butler runner Callum Hawkins has qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics. The 23-year-old from Scotland finished eighth in the London Marathon in 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 2 seconds, earning a spot on the country's Olympic Team. The London Marathon was held Sunday, April 24.

During the marathon, Hawkins beat out Kenya's Dennis Kimetto, who set a world record at the 2014 Berlin Olympics.

Hawkins will join a three-man marathon team that includes his brother Derek and Tsegai Twelde.
