Would he improve their chances of beating Butler, and winning again next week at the East Region in Boston, and reaching the Final Four in San Antonio? Sure he would. What kind of question is that? You smack yourself yet?
But Purdue is not doomed to the doghouse, and Butler is not suddenly in the catbird’s seat, because Haas won’t play Sunday.
