Andrew Chrabascz is not the best scorer in the Big East. Nor the best 3-point shooter or passer. Nor the best rebounder or defender.
Here’s the thing, though: The 6-7 Butler senior features all of those skills. That’s how he came to be selected to the All-Big East basketball first team announced Sunday.
League coaches choose all-conference teams and are not permitted to vote for their own players. There is no media vote.
“A.C. has had a good year statistically, but I think this recognition speaks to what we know – he really impacts winning,” Butler coach Chris Holtmann said.
