INDIANAPOLIS – This is where this Butler basketball team is now.
On an afternoon in which Kamar Baldwin equaled his lowest output – two points – in 113 college games, the 19th-ranked Bulldogs were as impressive as ever.
Bryce Golden scored 12 points and Sean McDermott 11, and Butler limited Southern University to 28% shooting in a 66-41 victory Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Butler will take its 10-1 record into next Saturday’s Crossroads Classic showdown with Purdue at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Zionsville’s Derrik Smits, the 7-1 transfer from Valparaiso, made his first Butler appearance of the season.
