From bath time with his daughters to the support of Paul George, there have been gratifying moments during Gordon Hayward’s rehabilitation process.
Progress has been “really encouraging,” he wrote. Not that the Boston forward, a former Bulldog from Butler University and Brownsburg High School, will be able to help the Celtics in the NBA playoffs.
“It will be fun to watch — though I look forward to the day when I can actually be part of it,” he posted Tuesday on a 2,700-word blog titled “The Long Road Back.”
Hayward, who turned 28 on March 23, left the Utah Jazz and signed a four-year, $128 million contract with the Celtics in the offseason.
