INDIANAPOLIS – Connor Turnbull, a 6-10 center who was the lone player in Butler basketball’s 2022 signing class, announced Tuesday he plans to reopen his recruitment.
ESPN rated Turnbull a four-star prospect just outside the Top 100.
Turnbull has spoken to coach Thad Matta, and he has not ruled out Butler entirely.

"Butler is in the mix, for sure," said Michael Uffmann, his high school coach at Fort Zumwalt North in O'Fallon, Mo.
The de-commitment comes in the aftermath of the firing of coach LaVall Jordan on Friday.
