NEWARK, N.J. – The Butler Bulldogs continue to lack bite away from Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Myles Powell scored 31 points, and Seton Hall handed a Butler a sixth consecutive road defeat, 76-75, in Big East basketball Wednesday night.
Sophomore center Joey Brunk had career highs with 20 points and 10 rebounds for Butler (10-6, 1-2). Kamar Baldwin scored 23 points on 10-of-26 shooting.
Baldwin made a 3-pointer at the buzzer. Powell had secured the outcome with two free throws with three seconds left.
With Butler behind 70-67, Baldwin missed with 42 seconds left on a 3-pointer that would have tied it.
