INDIANAPOLIS – It was not Kamar Baldwin’s night. It was his moment.
The junior guard scored 10 points over the closing five minutes, leading a Butler comeback that overtook Mississippi 83-76 Friday night in college basketball at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Butler (3-0) has won 46 consecutive nonleague home games, the third-longest active streak in the nation. The Bulldogs’ last such loss was to Pittsburgh in the 2012 College Basketball Invitational.
Paul Jorgensen scored 21 of his career-high 27 points in the first half for the Bulldogs.
