Butler made 11 successive 2-point attempts in the first half Saturday night, then sank eight 3-pointers in the second to beat DePaul for the 11th time in a row, 91-78, at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
It was white-out night in honor of the late Matt White, a former Butler runner whose 19-year fight against ALS was inspirational to Bulldogs basketball teams.
Butler (15-11) improved to 6-7 in the Big East and preserved its precarious place in what has become a weak bubble for inclusion in the NCAA tournament.
