Butler finished a weekend of game in Nashville with an 11-1 decision over host Tennessee State Sunday night. The Bulldogs dropped an earlier contest to Northern Kentucky, 7-5. With the results, Butler is 3-6 on the season.
The Bulldogs scored in four innings and had nine hits in the game. Maggie MacBeth went 3-for-4 at the plate, including a triple. She scored three runs en route to a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Brandyce Sallee went 2-for-3 and knocked in two. Kaitlin Doud had three RBIs.
Mikeila Boroff went the distance, allowing five hits while striking out four.
