Butler returns to BIG EAST action with a three-game weekend series with Providence in Indianapolis. The Bulldogs are 19-13 overall and took two of three against Seton Hall in the opening weekend of league play.
Butler and Providence will play a Saturday doubleheader at the Butler Softball Field with the first pitch scheduled for noon. They will play a single game Sunday at noon as well. Sunday's game will be Youth Day. Kids will have the opportunity to run the bases following the contest and there will also be a postgame autograph session.
Following the weekend series with Providence and the resumed game Thursday against IUPUI, fifteen of the Bulldogs' final 18 regular season contests will be on the road.
