One of the drawbacks of becoming an elite basketball player, and especially a shooter, is the single-mindedness required. That applies to Kellen Dunham, who used to rise for 5 a.m. workouts as a teenager and had to be kicked out of the gym by his high school coach.
In that respect, little has changed for Dunham, who is viewed as a one-dimensional player at Butler. Yet there might not be a more multidimensional figure at the north-side university.
In demeanor and intellect, he reminds internship mentors of Peyton Manning or Bryce Drew.
