INDIANAPOLIS – Kamar Baldwin did not wait around for the NBA draft or summer league.
The former Butler guard has signed a contract with Turk Telekom of Turkey’s top pro league, the Basketball Super League (BSL). Baldwin was not projected to be drafted and likely would have had to attempt making an NBA roster as a free agent.
The 6-1 Baldwin, 22, of Winder, Ga., was an All-Big East first team guard and the conference’s scholar-athlete of the year. His final act as a college player was a buzzer-beating 3-pointer for a 72-71 victory March 7 at Xavier.
