Butler athletic director Barry Collier was meeting late into Sunday night with LaVall Jordan, according to multiple sources, leading to speculation Jordan could be offered the job of head basketball coach.
Another source said the Bulldogs job was expected to go to Jordan, 38, head coach at Milwaukee of the Horizon League. He is a former Butler assistant coach and played for Butler teams coached by Collier.
Jordan previously interviewed for the job that ultimately went to Brandon Miller in 2013. Butler’s next coach will be its fourth in six seasons.
