Coach Paul Snape has announced Butler's 2016 schedule, which includes several marquee match-ups in addition to a strong BIG EAST slate. The Bulldogs are coming off an impressive 2015 campaign, posting a 10-4-4 record and a third-place finish in the BIG EAST.
The Bulldogs kick off the season with three exhibition games at the Butler Bowl. Butler welcomes Indianapolis's professional team, the North American Soccer League's (NASL) Indy Eleven, in addition to Big Ten Conference foes Ohio State and Michigan State.
Butler's non-conference schedule also includes a tournament hosted by Akron in Ohio. The Bulldogs will face UC-Santa Barbara and Oregon State during the event.
