The Butler University women’s basketball team fell back to .500 in conference play with a 63-52 home loss to Georgetown University on Jan. 26. The Bulldogs are now 5-5 in Big East contests and 13-9 for the season.
Butler got off to a strong start to the game, going on a 6-0 run to begin the first quarter and outscoring Georgetown 20-11 in the first ten minutes of play.
