The Butler Bulldogs traveled to Cincinnati to play Xavier on Friday Oct. 29. Butler defeated the Musketeers in three sets to win their fourth consecutive game. The Bulldogs improved their record to 13-11 overall and 7-4 in the conference.
The Bulldogs got off to a slow first set as Xavier went up 2-7. Butler rallied back with a 12-2 run with two kills from redshirt junior Brittany Robinson. Two kills from freshman Mariah Grunze and one from sophomore Megan Sheridan gave Butler a 18-11 lead.
