INDIANAPOLIS — It is not a done deal. Yet.
However, Butler is targeting LaVall Jordan as its next head basketball coach, multiple sources told IndyStar on Monday evening.
Jordan was meeting with athletic director Barry Collier after talks went into the night Sunday.
Jordan, 38, is head coach at Milwaukee of the Horizon League. He is a former Butler assistant coach and played for Bulldogs teams coached by Collier.
Jordan previously interviewed for the job that ultimately went to Brandon Miller in 2013. Butler’s next coach will be its fourth in six seasons.
