INDIANAPOLIS – Butler went on a 20-1 run against DePaul in the first half and sank eight 3-pointers in the second.
It all added up to an 80-57 victory by the Bulldogs, who extended their winning streak to four and climbed to 7-4 in the Big East before a crowd of 8,879 Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Butler senior Kelan Martin had 26 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3s. Three of his second-half assists resulted in teammates’ 3-pointers.
Paul Jorgensen added 13 points, and Kamar Baldwin and Sean McDermott 10 each for Butler (17-7).
