The Butler University softball team split a four-game weekend event in Memphis, Tennessee, from March 9-11. The team is now 6-12 on the season.
The Bulldogs started off the weekend on Friday, March 9, with a 2-1 win over Indiana State University before falling to the University of Memphis 13-0.
In the first game, Butler scored its first run in the first inning on an RBI single by freshman infielder Maddie Moore.
