INDIANAPOLIS – After two straight losses, Butler dropped from No. 5 to 12th and 13th in college basketball polls released Monday.
A week ago, the Bulldogs (15-3) climbed to their highest in-season ranking ever and were off to a 3-0 start in the Big East.
Then they lost at home to Seton Hall 78-70 and at DePaul 79-66. Before the season, the Bulldogs were projected to finish eighth in the Big East.
