INDIANAPOLIS – Paul Jorgensen made it clear.
“I wasn’t going to let us lose tonight on senior night,” he said.
Kamar Baldwin wasn’t, either. Was it because he wanted to send Butler’s seniors, Jorgensen and Nate Fowler, off with a win at Hinkle Fieldhouse?
“Also, Xavier,” he replied.
Ah, Xavier.
If there is an opponent the Bulldogs wanted to beat, it was Xavier. The fact it was senior night, postseason chances were teetering and they had lost four in a row to their rival ramped up the stakes.
