Butler named Mike Uremovich its new football coach on Monday.
Uremovich, who most recently served an assistant head coach and offensive coordinator at Temple from 2019-2021, becomes the ninth head coach in program’s history since Tony Hinkle in 1935. He takes over for Jeff Voris, who resigned in November after 16 years in charge.
“Among a very talented and deep applicant pool, Mike stood out throughout every phase of our process," Butler Athletic Director Barry Collier said in a statement. "He built a strong program at the NAIA level as a head coach and has been a successful coordinator and coach at several FBS programs.
