Kamar Baldwin’s running 3-pointer from just inside half-court rimmed off as time expired, and Purdue held on for a 76-73 victory Sunday in the NCAA tournament’s second round.
Dakota Mathias made a 3-pointer with 13 seconds left to give the Boilermakers a 76-71 lead, and that proved to be the deciding basket.
Purdue (30-6) moves on to meet Texas Tech on Friday in the East Regional at Boston.
Kelan Martin scored 29 points for the Bulldogs in his final college game.
