Recruiting misses and recent transfers have hampered Butler's performance Akeem Glaspie, IndyStar
INDIANAPOLIS – Butler does not often intersect with Indiana in college basketball recruiting but is doing so in the case of four-star prospect Matt Cross.
Cross, a 6-7 forward from Beverley, Massachusetts, visited Butler’s campus over the weekend. He is a rising fast in rankings for the 2020 class, climbing to 79th by Rivals and 89th by 247 Sports composite.
Cross has a long list of scholarship offers. Besides Butler and the Hoosiers, those include Illinois, Iowa and Penn State of the Big Ten, plus Florida, Creighton and Connecticut.
