INDIANAPOLIS – It was oh-so-Butler. It was oh-so-LaVall Jordan.
Wednesday was college basketball’s national signing day and thus the first day Jordan could comment publicly on his 2021 recruiting class. On Dan Dakich’s radio show, the coach did not begin with how good he thinks the players are. He spoke about how good they could be.
Jordan has reiterated that Butler is a developmental program, and all the evidence supports that. It remains comical that 247 Sports rated Butler’s 2008 recruiting class – featuring two future NBA players in Gordon Hayward and Shelvin Mack – at No.
