The Bulldogs (5-10, 4-8) trailed by 18 points midway through the second half and by 14 with little more than four minutes left. Bolden’s 3-pointer trimmed that to 69-67 with 18 seconds left.
After Marquette’s Koby McEwen made one of two free throws, the Bulldogs had a chance to send the game into overtime.
