Martin, one of 10 finalists for the Julius Erving Award as the nation’s top small forward, has become what Holtmann called one of “seven or eight guys” in the Bulldogs’ rotation. How do you go from midseason All-American, as Martin was, to rotation guy?
That has not entirely been explained. Holtmann said the decision to bench Martin for the first half of Tuesday’s 68-65 victory at Marquette was “an internal matter.
