INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler Bulldogs did not win because of coaching. Or because of shooting. Or because they were at home.
They won because players stopped a midweek practice to complain about how they were defending. Not good enough, guys. Not for us. Not for Butler.
Same thing happened during huddles Saturday.
“Those are the good teams that become great teams, especially on that side of the ball,” coach LaVall Jordan said.
