WASHINGTON – Neither Republicans nor Democrats rule this city. Congress and the president don’t, either.
The Butler Bulldogs do. You know any other entity winning 80% of the time in Washington?
Didn’t think so.
Kamar Baldwin and Sean McDermott combined to score 26 points in the second half, and the 17th-ranked Bulldogs overcame a 14-point deficit to beat Georgetown 69-64 Tuesday night in Big East basketball.
McDermott broke a tie on a 3-pointer with 49 seconds left, sending Butler ahead 67-64.
