College basketball’s summers are devoted to skill development, but to that the Butler Bulldogs have added body development.
Butler recently hired a strength and conditioning coach, Matthew Johnson, assigned strictly to basketball. It’s not that the Olympic motto — citius, altius, fortius — is unique around Hinkle Fieldhouse. Other teams have long sought to be faster, higher, stronger.
