INDIANAPOLIS – Dawgs vs. Hogs.
That is the scenario for Butler, which was given a No. 10 seed and paired against No. 7 seed Arkansas in the NCAA basketball bracket announced Sunday night.
It is the lowest tournament seed for the Bulldogs (20-13) since they were a No. 12 in 2003. They were a No. 9 in 2016 and 2009, and a No. 8 in 2011.
Arkansas, of the Southeastern Conference, is 23-11.
There are coincidences galore for Butler, which will meet the Razorbacks on Friday at Detroit in the East Regional:
