INDIANAPOLIS – Because of a rescheduling, Butler will meet St. John’s for the second time in 14 days in college basketball Friday at Carnesecca Arena in New York. Early tipoff is 5 p.m. (CBS Sports Network).
The Bulldogs traveled to Queens for a Dec. 23 game, but it was postponed hours before tipoff because of COVID issues on St. John’s.
St. John’s (14-11, 6-8) and Butler (13-13, 6-9) are seventh and ninth, respectively, in Big East standings but coming off impressive victories.
St. John’s won 86-73 Wednesday at Xavier and is 2-9 against Quad 1 opponents.
