Andrew Chrabascz scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half, including a tide-turning 3-pointer, and the No. 4-seeded Bulldogs beat No. 13 seed Middle Tennessee State 74-65 Saturday night in the NCAA South Regional.
Butler (25-8) advances to a regional semifinal Friday at Memphis.
It is Butler’s first Sweet 16 since 2011, fifth in 15 years and sixth overall. The list: 1962, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2017.
