Butler coach LaVall Jordan talks about Saint Louis trip. David Woods, david.woods@indystar.com
A nonleague basketball schedule that once did not appear all that difficult has toughened considerably.
Play resumes Saturday for the Butler Bulldogs, who will have had an eight-day break after returning from the Bahamas. First up is a trip to Saint Louis, which was crushed at Butler 75-45 a year ago.
The Billikens are not now what they were then. Coming off a 17-16 season, they return their two top scorers, Javon Bess and Jordan Goodwin, and added two graduate transfers, Tramaine Isabell Jr.
