INDIANAPOLIS – Butler might be replacing one shooting guard from Georgia with another.
Adam Flagler, 6-3 and 170 pounds, of Duluth, Ga., is transferring from Presbyterian College after one season. He is to announce a destination Sunday from a list that includes Butler, Seton Hall, Baylor and Appalachian State. The news was first reported by Jeff Goodman of Stadium.
Flagler visited Butler’s campus last week. He would have to sit out the 2019-20 season, then potentially would be successor to Kamar Baldwin, the Bulldogs’ second-team All-Big East guard from Winder, Ga.
Flagler averaged 15.9 points a game at Presbyterian, shot 39% on 3-pointers and was Big South freshman of the year.
