Actually, it has been the Butler Way of 2017.
As coach LaVall Jordan put it Wednesday night, in a postgame locker room video posted on the Butler basketball Twitter account:
“They’re going to just have to kill us to beat us.”
The latest example was the Bulldogs’ 91-89, double-overtime victory at Georgetown, which once led by 20 points.
According to statistician Ken Pomeroy, there have been 74 games this season in which the winner’s win probability dropped to 5 percent or less.
