Senior Aaron Thompson and freshman Myles Tate made key plays down the stretch, and Butler erased a 16-point deficit to end the Red Storm’s six-game winning streak 76-73 in overtime Tuesday night in the Big East.
The Red Storm (13-8, 7-7) have lost seven in a row at Hinkle. Butler (7-10, 6-8) is 5-2 in conference home games.
