5 years ago, the No. 13 Bulldogs hosted No. 8 Gonzaga and got the ESPN "College GameDay" treatment. It was the first time they had come to Hinkle Fieldhouse for a game, and they haven't been back since. But boy did the Bulldogs put on a show.
But the game wasn't the only highlight. Kevin Schwartz, a junior, hit a shot from halfcourt during the filming of College GameDay in the morning, breaking an 0-32 streak by students who attempted the shot. He won $18,000.
"I've always wanted to take a shot like that," Schwartz said.
