MILWAUKEE – Butler’s Bulldogs have won 18 straight college basketball games in the Chicago area. Turns out they kinda like nearby Milwaukee, too.
They ran their record to 4-0 in the BMO Harris Bradley Center over the past 12 months with their top road performance of the season Wednesday night.
Tyler Wideman scored a career-high 23 points, and the Bulldogs shot 60 percent and built a 30-point lead en route to a 92-72 victory over Marquette.
The game was pivotal for both teams. Butler (16-7) climbed into fifth place in the Big East at 6-4.
