Here are three reasons Butler beat Princeton 85-75 in Hinkle Fieldhouse on Sunday.
Kelan Martin stepped up in crunch time
With so many new faces on this year's roster, Butler needs Martin to be a steadying force. He did just that Sunday, and made a difference in more ways than just the scoreboard.
The 6-7 senior didn't have his shooting touch in the first half, hitting just 2-of-5 with four points, but he was the team's leader in rebounds (5) and assists (3) at the break.
He found his stroke in the second half in a big way, scoring 16 of his team-high 20 points.
