INDIANAPOLIS – Young and old combined to make Butler 1-0 in Big East basketball.
Freshmen and sophomores scored a cumulative 41 points, and senior guard Aaron Thompson had seven assists and a near-record seven steals as the Bulldogs beat DePaul 63-59 Wednesday in the delayed conference opener for both teams.
