CHICAGO – The Butler Bulldogs were wounded and wobbling. Not knocked out, though.
Simas Lukosius banked in a go-ahead 3-pointer with six seconds left, and Butler came from behind to stun DePaul 73-71 in Big East basketball Tuesday night at Wintrust Arena.
Lukosius, a freshman from Lithuania, scored 10 of his college-high 19 points in the closing three minutes. Another freshman, Jayden Taylor, added 12 points.
Chuck Harris scored 18 and Aaron Thompson 11 for Butler (13-13, 6-9).
