Burnley’s youth team get their CEE Cup campaign underway this afternoon, with their opening group fixture against Brazilian Palmeiras.
Tony Philliskirk’s side, who landed in the Czech Republic last night, are in a group alongside Turkish outfit Altinordu, hosts Slavia Prague and Palmeiras.
The Clarets face Palmeiras today, before coming up against Altinordu on Friday, finishing the group fixtures on Saturday against Slavia Prague.
The tournament consists of eight teams, with the other group including Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Zagreb, Sparta Prague and Besiktas.
The top two teams from each group will go through to the semi-finals, with the bottom two from each group playing for third and fourth spots.
